Killcode Has Arrived

Killcode Logo with biker chick:::KILLCODE::: is a five piece band based in New York City. Their unique sound is a product of their diverse influences and has been described as “Southern infused Rock/ Metal with modern vocals.” Their songs are hooky, super charged sing along Anthems, with BIG Guitars and Driving Rhythms.

Forming in 2008, vocalist Tom Morrissey and guitarist Chas laid the foundation with a couple of songs they recorded at Chas’ home studio. After recruiting long time musical companion Erric Bonesmith on bass guitar, KILLCODE found its form with the addition of Pat Harrington on guitar and Rob Noxious on the drums.

In December of 2013, :::KILLCODE::: parted ways with Pat Harrington and welcomed DC Gonzalez on guitar. DC, known as lead guitarist for the rock band PANZIE, has proven to be more than just a ‘fill in’… his style complements what they already had going on and it has reinvigorated the band. In late 2015, they partnered with Coallier Entertainment to help extend their reach internationally.

Full Throttle Magazine first featured them back in 2010- and have been watching and waiting to see how far they would go in their musical career. The band quickly raised eyebrows and landed on bills with the likes of Godsmack, Sevendust, Twisted Sister, The Vamps, Red Dragon Cartel, Ace Frehley, will be special guests of Lita Ford this Halloween, and have just announced that they will be returning to Mexico on Saturday, November 12th for an encore performance at Corona Northside Metal Meeting Fest 2016 in Monterrey Mexico sharing the stage with KISS!

When they returned from their latest European Gigs; ‘GUITARE EN SCENE’ in France and ‘Bang Your Head’ Festival in Germany, they gave a killer performance on August 18th on the Looney Tunes stage at the “Alive After 5” event in Patchogue New York for their hometown fans.  When speaking with lead singer Tom, he was asked “Since the bands inception, what were the most defining moments in the bands career?” Tom replied: “I think our ride began when we opened for the Vamps at the most iconic venue in NYC (our “bucket list” venue) – The Roseland Ballroom-a few months before they closed their doors forever.  Also opening for Twisted Sister for the first time in 2014 at the Best Buy Theatre as well as our most recent gigs this year in France and Germany, plus playing to a crowd of nearly 55,000 at the 2016 Heaven and Hell Fest in Mexico…. That was over the top.”

Their music catalog consists of two 6 song EP’s (‘To Die For’/2008 and ‘Taking it All’/2010, and a full Length Self-Titled album (Killcode/2012), a new single “Slave” which is from their newest album produced by Joey Z, set for release this year. They aren’t showing any signs of slowing down and are ready and able to take their rightful place alongside the biggest rock acts out there.
