Biker for Christ and the Rushing Wind Biker Church held their 9th annual Biker Christmas Celebration December 17th and it was an incredible evening. Great music by Kenny Maxx and the Soul Rockers, great food that was prepared by the people of the biker church, and just a joy filled event to end the 2016 Long Island motorcycle event season. As usual many clubs came down to join with us to celebrate this holiday we call Christmas, when God came down into humanity to give us all a renewed hope. I shared some words of encouragement about the Three Magi who have been part of the nativity scenes and the bible story of Christmas going way back, and the fact that no matter how far from God, his star of hope can be seen by everyone from any distance. Mark (The Voice) from BFCMM gave his annual reading of the biker’s night before Christmas, a fun and insightful rendering of the old story. All in all a really great night of fellowship, breaking bread together, sharing stories in conversations of the past years events, new friendships and strengthening old ones.

A blessed night culminating with everyone joining in the candlelight ending and singing silent night, which transcends to one bright light that illuminated the room, symbolizing the love of this community, which rises above all club affiliations, organizations, backgrounds and differences that the world uses to divide us. We thank you all who came out, and give a heartfelt thank you to the folks from the Rushing Wind Biker Church, who prepared all the food and came down to serve all our friends in the biker community. We wish you all a restful winter, as we all have much riding to do this season. Prayers for a great 2017 with few accidents and hardships. God Bless, ride safe, and God Bless America.
